Peanut butter Banana Cake

Peanut butter Banana Cake

Are you as crazy about peanut butter as Anna is? Even though Marit is allergic to peanuts and unfortunately she can’t taste the piece of heaven on earth called peanut butter, it doesn’t stop me (Anna) from making a peanut butter cake. I used banana and vanilla extract to give the cake an extra sweet touch! And every peanut butter lover knows that peanut butter and banana is really a top combination. To make it even tastier you can spread chocolate on it or make it nice and fresh with some cottage cheese.

Ingredients:

  • 140 grams of whole wheat flour
  • 16 grams of baking powder
  • 100 grams of buttermilk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 bananas
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp of honey
  • 4 tbsp of peanut butter

Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Mix the eggs with a hand mixer through the peanut butter. Add the other ingredients to the batter and mix it until it is a smooth batter. Spread the batter over the greased baking tin and bake the peanut butter banana bread in the middle of the oven for 30 minutes until done. Divide the cake in 8 pieces.

Optional:
Spread some cottage cheese on a piece of cake.
