It can be that some people have a wrong perception of a healthy lifestyle. A healthy lifestyle doesn’t mean that you can’t eat delicious food anymore! We want to let you try this delicious warming recipe. This is a perfect snack after a long day of work/school, but also for a Sunday afternoon with a big cup of tea. Next to this, it is also great on a sandwich if you want to take it to work! Are you going to try it?

Ingredients for 2 persons:

  • 2 pears
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • 2 tbsp of honey
  • +/- 30 grams of goat cheese
  • 2 tbsp of cinnamon
  • 20 grams of cashew nuts

Instructions:

Clean the two pears under cold water and dry them. Cut them into thin slices, lengthwise. Heat the olive oil in a pan and turn it to medium heat. Add the slices of pear and bake them for around 2-3 minutes on each side. Sprinkle 1 tbsp of honey on top of the pear and let it melt a bit in the pan. Also add 1 tbsp of cinnamon. Put the slices of pear on a plate, sprinkle the leftover honey on top as well as the left over cinnamon. Crumble the goat cheese and add this as well. If you want, you can chop the cashew nuts otherwise just add them on top of the pears. Enjoy!

If you don’t really like pear, then replace the pear for apple.
